I have reported scam websites registered with them and they have done absolutely nothing. They should deactivate the domain name like any responsible registrar would. One of the scam domains is shopify-8.com
If you host your website on the same shared server as one of the scam sites your website and email will be blacklisted.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!
Namesilo is a scam they have deactivated my domain without notice for no reason. I see they have done this to many other customers as well. Would leave negative stars if I could, Beware this is your Warning Namesilo is a Scam.
I alerted them about a SCAM website that pretend selling "ATA" cryptocurrrency but never send anything.
I already alerted hostinger about the same website that was hosted in a different domain and they removed the scammer account within 1 hour. I was a victim of their that scam
Now, the scammer is using the same website with a new domain on namesilo.
Namesilo refused to do any effort to investigate the scam and take down the scam website even though I gave them all evidences.
Dsn record and modification are so buggy and troubles with sites builders! Stay away! Verification take sooo long, and most of site host wont recognize their setup. Your time is precious, just by your domain at a trouble free registar.
Namesilo locked my account with my 17 domains on it(1-10 years old) because someone wrote abuse about one of my domain(I suspect someone got envy for my 3letters name domain and wrote abuse exactly before 1-3 days of expiration of this domain to steal it after for their brand).
I cannot get access to change ns records of rest domains, neither pay for extension, neither transfer to another registrar.
I don't know what to do, they just ruined my business in one day completely.
I moved all my domains from Godaddy to Namesilo. It is not asking stupid prices for stupid reasons like other mass saler platforms. Once I lost my password, it asked me one of my previous payments record and id photo which I found quite reasonable. This is what they should do or else you would see your account gone to someone else who is faking you.
Namesilo locked my domain, refusing to move it, asking x10 of the original price, they say that its on their policy locking domains and keeping it locked for months asking for 70$ in order to unlock them.
I asked them for transfer code but they refused to give me, their panel is very poor and my expiriance is the worse. PEOPLE HAVE TO CARE ABOUT HIDDEN FEES when they buy from them.
This site has the worst customer service I've ever seen. Customer service representatives are not helpful and refuse to help you. I've tried contacting them through chat and email, and they're rude, cold and refuse to provide solutions to simple problems. They still haven't given me a refund, even though I've tried getting a refund through the Order History, contacting the customer service chat, and contacting them through email. Just buy a domain and web hosting elsewhere, seriously. You'll regret it. It's not worth the trouble.
I was a domain reseller with namesilo. I lost my password. When I tried resetting it using my email, it was such a hectic process. They asked for my ip address, proof of payment etc. It was just so annoying for such a simple thing. And it's not even worth it. Their coupons for bulk purchasing are trash, you save only like 3 cents. Website interface is terrible. I mean there are literally thousands of other better options. Namesilo is just not worth it
I bought a domain for 100$
When I wanted to transfer this domain to a german hoster, they told my, the domain is not my any more, another agency has now the rights.
I was NOT informed of ANY deadlines or got any information about the depending delection.
100$ gone
Seems like I am not the only one who got ripped of...
The costumer service is - so to speak - not existent
NAMESILO IS A BIG SCAMM DO NOT FALL. THE WILL ALOUT YOU TO BUY DOMAIN AND AFTER HAVING GOOD BACKLINK THE WILL DEACTIVATE THE DOMAIN AND START SELLING THE DOMAIN. DO NOT BUY DOMAIN OR HOSTING HERE
They will auction your account immediately after expiration no matter how long you have been a customer. Not to be trusted with your domain! G
I i nformed (via live chat) that they were hosting a scammers website.
The person I was chatting to "Alan", requested I fill out an abuse form which I said I did not want to as it would take more of my time up.
He bluntly told me it as not his responsibility when I am sure he could have passed the message on.
Very lazy and rude support.
They steal and grab your domains - beware.
Please Avoid NAMESILO at any cost if you want to save your domains.
While their policy states 33 days for domain renewal grace period, they steal your domain on 29th or 30th day in the name of auction. Would never recommend anyone to go with namesilo.
Its totally unsafe to do business with a company like Namesilo, please go with registrar such as godaddy or namecheap.
Left me on my own with unusable domain and wasted money.
Left me on my own with unusable domain and wasted money.
I have purchased. ICU domain at NameSilo.com. After some time domain stopped working with no reason and without any preliminary warnings or smth.
Support just told me this is registry issue and I will not receive any real support from NameSilo.com. ICU registry won't talk to me. Domain not working, money wasted. Do not recommend.
Sorry to hear about your poor experience with us. Please understand that your domain was placed on ServerHold by the registry that owns that TLD, not by us. As we communicated over e-mail, we will contact the registry on your behalf to figure out why your domain was placed on ServerHold and let you know. Typically, this happens when the registry finds your domain to be involved with abuse - i. E. spam, phishing etc.
I always register my domains and my web design clients' domains with NameSilo and The-Online.com domain registrar. They both offer low prices and good support. NameSilo has many promos, but lack phone support or live chat. They should have quick phone support to fix DNS things on my account. Else they are quite good.
Thank you for your review Chelsea. We are continuously trying to improve our support, including adding phone in the future. In the meantime, we offer 24x7 e-mail and live chat support.
Interface and console are NOT user-friendly. Knowledgebase and help files are mostly useless. Takes hours to figure out how to do something unless you're a pro.
They provide EMAIL SUPPORT ONLY as are NEVER ONLINE FOR CHAT - even in the middle of the day. No phone support whatsoever either. Even in a crunch when begging for help in email. Takes way to long to get responses.
Go find another company who cares about their customers!
Sorry to hear about your poor experience with us. We certainly care about our customers and offer 24x7 customer support through e-mail and chat. We have been and continue to invest heavily in improving our support team to ensure that we can help our customers will all their questions.
NameSilo.com is a domain company which buys domains from other domains paying a few dollars and they are selling the domainname for a thousand of dollars! Don't get fooled and screwed out!
Sorry to hear about your poor experience with us. Not quite sure what you mean but we are an ICANN accredited registrar and our domain name registration prices start at $0.99 USD depending on the particular domain extension that you're looking to register. You can see our full pricing guide available here (under the registration, transfer and renewal tabs): https://www.namesilo.com/pricing.php
Not quite sure how you saw a thousand dollar domain, unless you tried to register a premium name or purchase one from another user selling it through our marketplace?
My experience with namesilo is great. Very cheap pricing plus a lot of free stuff for lifetime. No hidden costing at all!
I've been a customer of Namesilo for a few years now. I switched over to them from NameCheap after they repeatedly let me down on the support side. Namesilo is pretty awesome in that regard. I've only ever talked to support twice, but both times they were able to help me out relatively quickly. They have two-factor authentication which is a great thing for security and overall they have great pricing for their domain names. Really have nothing to complain about them at all. Would highly recommend them.
Answer: The-Online.com Epik.com Both are similar to NameSilo and offer lower prices on. Com domains through promo. They even offer phone support!
Cheap domain names with NameSilo: Cheapest everyday domain name registration prices, free WHOIS privacy, free domain parking, secure API, no hidden fees, no minimum orders, no renewal upcharges, fast registration, fast renewals and no-hassle experience...

Sorry to hear about your poor experience with us but please understand that we did not take your domain. Unfortunately, you did not renew your domain in time and as such, it was acquired by another user through auction. We always encourage the original registrant to renew their domains. In fact, in addition to offering an auto-renew feature which can automatically renew your domains prior to expiring, we also send out multiple reminder emails prior to your domain expiring, once it expires, when your domain is bid upon and prior to the expiration period completing because we want you to renew your domain. However, if you choose not to renew your domain, we try to see if anyone else in the community wants to renew it instead, as higher renewal rates are important and allow us to maintain our low prices and offer discounts.
Our full expiration process is documented here: https://www.namesilo.com/Support/Expiration-Process:
"Please see below that you may lose your domain on the 31st day if it is bid upon via auction."
